Discover the three most important touristic cities of Austria during this flexible independent tour. Visit Vienna, the city of elegance and music, charming Salzburg, the city of Mozart and the Sound of Music. Tour  medieval  Innsbruck and visit Swarovski's magical Crystal World. Extensions to Budapest and Prague also possible.

Day1: Vienna
Arrival in Vienna and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free for own activities. Overnight.

Day 2 :Vienna
Morning sightseeing tour of the city with many imposing palaces and grand buildings. We will see the Hofburg, the opera house, the famous concert halls, the city hall and drive to Schonbrunn Palace, the summer palace of the Austro-Hungarian emperors. Afternoon free. Overnight in Vienna. Optional evening musical performance at one of the many concert halls or at one of the opera houses.

Day 3 Vienna - Salzburg
After breakfast take the to Salzburg, the city of salt and Mozart, one of the greatest composers of the world. Afternoon free to walk around the charming old town, or  take one of  our optional
tours to the former salt mines, to the Salzkammergut beautiful lake district or the Alpine scenery of Eagle's Nest. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 4: Salzburg
Narrated hop on and off City tour of Salzburg showing you the highlights of the city as well as the locations where the classic movie, the Sound of Music was filmed. As an altenative you can have a filly guided Salzburg tour instead. Afternoon at leisure or you can attend optional tours to the nearby salt mines, ice caves, Bavaria or Eagle's Nest in the Bavarian Alps. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 5: Salzburg - Innsbruck
After breakfast departure by train through the Austrian province of  Tyrol, with its stunning mountain scenery to Innsbruck. Stroll through the historic heart of the small city and admire the sights, including the famous "Little Golden Roof". Optional hop on hop off sightseeing tour. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 6: Innsbruck
Today you will visit Swarovski's spectacular "Crystal World". Learn more about this very special Austrian glass and admire the many sparkling products. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 7: Innsbruck - Vienna
Return to Vienna and enjoy your last day. Optional tours and concert/opera tickets can be added to your program. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 8: Vienna
Transfer to Vienna Airport for your departure flight home or continue on one of our romantic Danube river cruises to nearby countries..
