The cabins on the Haydn- Deck have fixed windows while the cabins on the Strauss-Deck have large panoramic windows which can be opened. The cabins on the Mozart-Deck have large glass doors that stretch right across the width of the cabin (allowing them to be described as having French Balconies). Cabins 206 and 204 on the Strauss-Deck have round, fixed panoramic windows.

You can enjoy the most beautiful of the cycle tracks between Passau and Budapest riding in groups organized by our experienced cycling tour business partner. These excursions are on cycle and farm tracks, outside the villages and towns and mostly away from road traffic. The tracks along the river banks are very flat. The excursion leader will give you information about the routes at the beginning of the cruise.

2 – The Auen national park by the Danube (ca. 55 km)
You leave Bratislava in the minibus and then cycle through one of Europe’s largest and least spoilt pasture landscapes. The Pannonian lowlands were once the boundaries of the Roman Empire, and the excavations here from the Roman settlement of Carnuntum to Bad Deutsch-Altenburg are particularly impressive. Hainburg has a medieval atmosphere and there are fantastic views of the Carpathian mountains. |

Tour 3 – The “knee” of the Danube (ca. 55 km)
The minibus takes the party from Budapest to Szentendre, which has an artists’ colony and a romantic promenade alongside the Danube. From there you pedal northwards until you can see the fortress of Visegrád towering above the river. The final stretch takes you to Esztergom, whose basilica of the former capital of the country stands in solitary, impressive splendour above the Danube. |

Tour 4 - Nibelungen and Strudengau (ca. 50 km)
This excursions goes first from the neat town of Melk, with its famous Benedictine abbey, to Maria Taferl with its well-known pilgrimage church above the Danube. Typical villages such as Marbach or St. Nikola nestle picturesquely on its banks below mountainous features. In Ybbs you can admire splendidly restored Renaissance town houses. The day’s cycling ends romantically in Grein, the third oldest town in the Mühlviertel district north of Linz. |
