Day 1 / Thursday Berlin
Individual arrival at Berlin airport, transfer to the hotel.  The rest of the day is free for your own activities in Germany's vibrant capital with its many famous museums, galleries and lively night life. Overnight at your first class hotel in Berlin. Overnight at the Hotel Hotel Maritim proArte****.

Day 2 / Friday Berlin
Meet your guide and other group members at the hotel. We start the day after breakfast with a city tour of Berlin. Get to know the city for its famed and infamous history. we will see the Under den Linden avenue, the New Parliament,, the Potsdam square and Checkpoint Charlie, the State Opera and the Brandenburg Gate. Afternoon is at leisure to explore the city at your own convenience. Overnight at the Hotel  Hotel Maritim proArte****.in Berlin.

Day 3 / Berlin - Potsdam - Erfurt
After breakfast we travel to Potsdam, the city renowned for the famous Conference at the end of the First World War where Stalin, Churchill and Truman decided the fate of Europe. Potsdam is built on an island on the shores of the river Havel surrounded by channels, parks and forest. After visiting the Sanssouci palace with its cascading parks, we continue to Erfurt with its nicely preserved medieval center, with one of the most attractive original buildings in Germany. We will have a sightseeing tour of the city and visit the Merchants‘ Bridge with the longest series of inhabited buildings on any bridge in Europe. Accommodation at the Mercure Hotel Erfurt****.

Day 4 / Sunday Berlin – Frankfurt
The morning is free to spend at your leisure. As an alternative you may also visit the Wartburg (not included). In the afternoon transfer to Frankfurt, the commercial heart of Germany, a modern city with famous galleries, skyscrapers but also with a lovely reconstructed medieval town square. At 7 pm dinner with the rest of the group. Accommodation at the Mövenpick Frankfurt City****. 

Day 5 / Monday Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Black Forest
Today we depart to Heidelberg, the famous university town overlooking the Neckar river with fantastic views. We will take a cable car  and visit the charming old historic center. After the sightseeing of the town we will drive through the beautiful Black Forest road, the Schwarzwald Hochstrasse.
This night we will
have an authentic experience at a Black Forest style hotel with half riffed roof and geranium adorned windows. Enjoy a typical Black Forest dinner. If you like, have a little walk to the beautiful Ravenna Gorge or see the region’s oldest chapel, both are next to the hotel. Accommodation at the Best Western Hotel Hofgut Sternen***+.

Day 6 / Tuesday  Black Forest - Lake Titi - Lindau - Füssen
We start the day with a short presentation of a cuckoo clock production, then continue to a small typical farm for cheese tasting. Continue on to Lake Titisee nestled in the heart of the forest, then to the charming town of  half timbered houses, Lindau on the shores of Lake Constance, from where you can admire fantastic views of the nearby Alps. We will again drive through the scenic Alpine road to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt ending today's excursion in Füssen, at the foothills of the Alps. Overnight in charming Fussen

Day 7 / Wednesday Neuschwanstein – Wieskirche - Oberammergau - Lindenhof - Innsbruck
This morning we will visit one of the most photographed castles in the world,  Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the tragic king of Bavaria. Continue on to Oberammergau, famous for painted houses and its Passion Play that takes place only once every ten years. Drive to Linderhof, King Ludwig's other famous dream-like castle where he spent most of his adult years. We stop at the charming Rococo Wieskirche Church, then continue to an other King Ludwig castle, Linderhof.  After a brief stop at the Baroque Benedictine Abbet at Ettal we continue to our final destination in Innsbruck, which is already in Austria. Day 8 / Thursday Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck - Munich
This morning we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Innsbruck,  Austria, located in the Inn valley, at the footsteps of the Alps. it is the capital city of Tirol famous for its Alpine scenery a popular ski hub with a nice old town center. In the afternoon drive back to Germany to overnight in Munich, Bavaria's capital city.

Day 9 / Friday Munich
After breakfast we will have a tour of the city finishing our sightseeing on the main square, Marienplatz renowned for its famous clock tower. The city is also the capital of Bavaria and world famous for its yearly beer festival, the Oktoberfest which actually takes place in  September. The afternoon is at leisure to explore the city on your own. In the evening enjoy a typical Bavarian farewell dinner at your hotel. Overnight at

Day 10 / Saturday Munich - Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Frankfurt
After breakfast we travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, considered one of Germany's most authentic medieval towns, where we'll have a sightseeing tour  followed by a Schneeballen snow ball tasting, a pastry typical of Rothenburg. Drive to Frankfurt airport where we will conclude our tour around 6 p.m. End of services at Frankfurt airport. Extra night hotels can be added or join one of our other tours in Germany or Austria.
