Driving Tour Itinerary:

DAY 1: Frankfurt
Arrival in Frankfurt on your own  and pick up your car at the airport. Overnight at the hotel of your choice either 3 or 4 star hotel in Frankfurt.

DAY 2: Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Freiburg (275 km)
Breakfast. Start the day by an optional 2-hour walking city tour in Frankfurt or drive to drive to Heidelberg. Idyllically located on the shores of the Neckar River, Heidelberg is Germany’s oldest university town and one of the most popular destinations in the country. In Heidelberg you can join an optional 2-hour walking city tour or walk around the famous castle and enjoy the fabolous vioew over the Neckar valley. If weather conditions allows it, take the scenic Schwarzwald Hochstrasse to Freudenstadt. Your next stop is Freiburg.. Overnight in Freiburg, the capital of the Black Forest region.

Day 3 Freiburg - Lake Titisee - Lindau - Füssen (275 km)
After breakfast 2-hour walking city tour of lovely Freiburg, famous for its beautiful church tower (optional). Next you travel to Lake Titisee, nestled in the legendary Black Forest. You continue to the small island of Lindau in Lake Constance, which boasts spectacular views of the Alps. Depending on weather conditions you can take the Alpine road from Lindau to Oberstaufen
and Immenstadt to your final destination Füssen.

Day 4 Neuschwanstein - Wieskirche - Oberammergau - Ettal - Garmisch-Partenkirchen (85 km)
Visit the Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the notorious “Mad King“. In the afternoon drive to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play and lovely crafts. Along the way you can visit the Wieskirche Church before continuing to the Ettal Benedictine
Abbey. Today‘s final destination is Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany’s winter sports capital and site of the 1936 winter Olympics.

Day 5 Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck - Linderhof - Munich (250 km)
In the morning you can drive to Innsbruck. Enjoy this nice city in Austria, located in the Inn valley, in the heart of the Alps. In the afternoon you drive to Munich, and on the way you have the possibility to visit Linderhof Castle. This is one of the 3 castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria.

Day 6 Munich
After breakfast 2-hour walking city tour in Munich, were you’ll visit the city’s main attractions, concluding the tour at the Marienplatz squarewith its famous clock tower (optional). Munich, the capital of the state of Bavaria is famous for its
Oktoberfest, which is annually celebrated in September.

Day 7 Munich - Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Frankfurt (435 km)
After breakfast you drive to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. 1.5-hour city tour of Rothenburg, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany (optional). Next you drive to Frankfurt to return your rental car at the Frankfurt airport.
